VitalTissue uses residual tissue from operations
In many operations, such as a gastric bypass, residual tissue is thrown away. But researchers can do valuable research on this tissue, without having to use laboratory animals. The VitalTissue platform facilitates the use of living human tissue left over after an operation for health research.
Better medicines
Research using human tissue provides better insights into the processes of the human body and human diseases. It also ensures more reliable research into the functioning of new medicines and nutritional products. In this way, this approach can replace animal testing.
